The Dani Olmo case still uncertain
On December 31, 2024 at midnight, the deadline for LaLiga to validate the documentation sent by FC Barcelona concerning the sale of the VIP boxes at the future Spotify Camp Nou expired. However, after the club announced that it had asked the Spanish federation (RFEF) for a new license for Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, LaLiga responded: “FC Barcelona has not presented any alternative which, in accordance with the economic control regulations of LaLiga would allow him to register any player from January 2.”
The RFEF, for its part, claims that it cannot process any federal license without the approval of LaLiga, which has not been the case until now. Barça does not close the door to the possibility that Olmo and Pau Víctor are still registered for the second half of the season and waits until Friday January 3 to explain all the information on this subject.
