A ceremony to reward all types of cultural art: this Wednesday, January 1, to launch the year, France 2 will broadcast The Golden Bravosa new ceremony presented by Nagui and his accomplice on the show The Original Soundtrack from France Inter, Leïla Kaddour-Boudadi.
With 18 categories ranging from cinema to fiction, literature, podcast or comedy show, Lis Bravos d'or want to cover a very broad spectrum of culture, “the idea being to both relive everything that may have happened during the year 2024 but also to reward those who have achieved success in their field”, explains Nagui .

Prizes based on the year's successes
There is no voting (or almost) since the winners are selected on the basis of institutional figures “such as Médiamétrie, the union of private theaters, box office figures, the National Music Center, etc. No figures, no results are subject to discussion, there is no collusion, no lobby or any influence whatsoever,” specifies Nagui. “And yet, there will be surprises,” he adds.
Only one category is subject to voting: the “Special Bravo of the Year 2024” which will reward the personality who “shine” the most in 2024 among more than a hundred names. Votes are already open and will continue until the show is broadcast. “It’s really the choice of the heart that will speak and not the numbers,” confides the host. The public can thus vote for Léon Marchand, Teddy Riner, Céline Dion, Pierre Niney… Only detail: the winner will not go on stage, the show having already been recorded at the Marigny theater in mid-December.
“Being popular is not a bad word”
This ceremony aims to highlight these “popular successes” which brought the public together. “Being popular is not a bad word,” insists Nagui. Thus, “There is no remitter or envelope. We are far from the Caesar ceremonial or celebrations of this type,” explains Leïla Kaddour-Boudadi.
No speeches either, but rather questions and answers between the two presenters and the winners. “It’s much more pleasant than giving a speech prepared with paper and pencil, it gives something more lively,” underlines Nagui. If the show works, it could be renewed next year.
The Golden BravosWednesday January 1, from 9:10 p.m., on France 2.
