Monday, December 30 at the end of the morning, the members of the Restos du Cœur branch, located 19, avenue du Parc, had the pleasant surprise of receiving around thirty bouquets of flowers, offered by the Cœur de Fleurs boutique, located 68B, rue du Faubourg-Madeleine.
“Throughout the year, we have a rotation regarding our flowers, which come from Holland,” explains Marilyne Garot, manager. “It’s a surplus from the Christmas holidays and we are happy to share it with people. »
“This is the first time we have received a flower donation”
The spontaneous initiative and this outpouring of generosity were very well received by Pierre Henry, manager of Restos du Cœur. “This is the first time we have received a flower donation. We help 125 families per week, which represents 350 people, 85% of whom are from Beaune. One hundred and forty-five families are registered, with around twenty not coming regularly. For the moment requests are stable. Many of our audience are single women. Bouquets of cut flowers will brighten up this end-of-year period and will be doubly appreciated. Our last action was a distribution of Christmas toys. »
Practical Distributions are made every Monday from 5 to 6 p.m. and Tuesdays from 9 to 11 a.m. and 2 to 4 p.m.
