Pix'L on his 31st, a unique concert at the Casino de Paris to see on Réunion La 1ère

Pix'L at the Casino de Paris, a popular success for the singer from Reunion who performed for the first time in this legendary venue in France. “Pix'L and Friends”, a concert to be seen this December 31 from 8 p.m. and available for replay on the Réunion La 1ère website. Pix'L is a great voice in the Péï urban music scene who had a lot of doubts but who managed to question himself and reinvent himself thanks to the support of his loved ones and his wife.

Buoyed by this Parisian success, Pix'L is accomplished in this new popular turn of his career. “I am inspired at the moment. I want to sing, I want to share. The story of Pix'l first begins with the meeting of a Reunionese mother and a Mauritian father, a musician, who will rock his childhood with Jazz and Soul. Originally from the city of Port, the artist tried his hand at writing Rap texts at the age of 11, having as a model Eminem, Cypress Hill and other big names in Hip-Hop culture.

In 2005, he moved to the south of Reunion, in the heights, to Plaine-des-Cafres and was introduced to reggae culture. In 2007, he founded the group “Rask” with Mighty Lion and Kérozen to express himself on hip-hop, dancehall and reggae sounds.

Consecration was achieved solo with the title “Alé a ou” in 2013. Since then, the Reunionese public has followed him on social networks but also in schools where he runs writing workshops. To mark its 10-year career, Pix'L invited several artists on October 21, 2023 to the stage of the Téat En Plein Air in Saint-Gilles such as Kenyon, Isnel and Sskyron.
