(AOF) – A 737-800 aircraft from the American manufacturer Boeing crashed yesterday when landing at Muan airport in South Korea, killing 179 people out of 181 passengers. It was a 737-800 from the South Korean low-cost airline Jeju Air which had departed from Bangkok. South Korea has launched a “comprehensive inspection” of all Boeing 737-800s used by the country’s airlines. In the images of the crash, smoke escaped from the aircraft’s engines, before hitting a wall at the end of the runway and being engulfed in flames.
