Puck Pieterse (Fenix-Deceuninck) will not manage to include the evening cross in Diegem on his record for the third time in a row. The 22-year-old Dutchwoman is ill and will not travel to the Brussels suburbs on Monday, where the sixth Superprestige event of this season is scheduled.

It’s raining cancellations
It didn’t stop with Pieterse’s cancellation alone. Crelan-Corendon announces the cancellation of three riders: Aaron Dockx, Marion Norbert Riberolle and the Italian champion Sara Casasola. “We unfortunately have a few absent this evening in Diegem, the last cross of 2024,” reports the Belgian team on Instagram.
“Sara Casasola has still not recovered from her viral infection and continues to suffer from the disease. Marion Norbert Riberolle felt slightly ill yesterday after the match in Besançon and is suffering from cold symptoms. Aaron Dockx did not feel fit enough in Besançon to compete with the best. After Zonhoven he fell ill and does not seem to have recovered sufficiently.
