In the absence of the World Champion Fem van Empel and the title holder Puck PieterseIt is Lucinda Brand which won this Monday evening in Diegem, during the 6th round of the Telenet Super prestige. All in control, the Dutch Training Champion Baloise Trek Lions was therefore looking for his 5th success of the season, ahead of Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado (Fenix-Deceuninck) et Inge Van der Heijden (Crelan-Corendon).

From the start of the race, a trio broke away at the front, with Lucinda Brand (Baloise Trek Lions), Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado (Fenix-Deceuninck) et Inge Van der Heijden (Crelan-Corendon). But, under the leadership of the Dutch Champion, Van der HeijdenThen Alvarado cracked. Brand was therefore to win alone, at the end of a race carried out masterfully.
And thanks to this success, Brand comes back to a small pointAlvarado in the general classification of Telenet Super prestige…there will therefore remain two rounds to decide between the two compatriots, in Gullegem on January 4 and in Middelkerke on February 8.
