Marine Ltemporel was discovered by the general public during her election as Miss France 2013. Since then, the young woman has swapped the beauty queen's scarf for a blouse by becoming a doctor. And like most of her peers, Marine Ltemporel puts her notoriety at the service of the well-being and health of as many people as possible. After having preached the good word on the set of Health Magazine, Télématin or even on the RTL channel, Marine Loublion continues her role alongside the Dr Good teams where she now produces medical popularization videos. In 2023, the former model unveils In Full Form (editions Marabout), her first work as a general practitioner where she gives her advice for “be good in your body and in your head”. If you are looking for a cooking oil that is healthier, Marine Ltemporel suggests turning to olive oil, which she does not hesitate to describe as being “perfect” for cooking up to 200° c. “Choose it ideally 'first cold pressed' (the olives, pressed at low temperature, keep all their properties) and organic to guarantee the absence of chemical treatment of the olives”advises the general practitioner in her work.
What about when it comes to seasoning a dish or salad? “Olive and hazelnut oils are also interesting, because they are rich in omega-9”continues the former beauty queen. Rapeseed, walnut and camelina oils are also interesting options given their omega-3 content.

What about sunflower, grapeseed, sesame and coconut oils? Their use in cooking should be limited because “a little too rich in omega-6”. But one of them should be handled with caution given its composition. “Beware of coconut oil, very trendy but made up of 90% saturated fat”warns the 31-year-old doctor in her book In great shape.
And to specify: “Reserve this oil for cooking at very high temperatures, even if it should be avoided. – the nutritional content of the food then becomes poorer.” Tips that will undoubtedly make it easier to choose your oil in the kitchen.
