Around 5:20 a.m. this Sunday, December 29, a serious traffic accident took place on the A7 motorway near Feyzin, near Lyon. Two vehicles collided. The collision left one dead and five injured, two of whom were in absolute emergency. Emergency services quickly arrived on site.
Part of the highway towards Marseille was closed to traffic early this morning to allow emergency services to intervene and carry out investigations. Since 9:30 a.m., the highway towards Marseille has been accessible to motorists again. The prefecture, however, urges caution in this sector.
