A first flirtation this summer, open love this winter?
The story between FC Nantes and Anthony Lopes could well materialize after weeks of circling around. Already in the Canaries' papers this summer, after losing his number one place following the arrival of Lucas Perri, the Portuguese international could well this time move towards the Atlantic according to information from The Team.
Having become undesirable at OL, a situation that the person concerned logically experiences badly as he recently confided, Lopes would arrive in Nantes to rediscover the taste for the big posters of Ligue 1. Indeed, on the side of the FCNA, the managers would be disappointed with the performances of Alban Lafont and would therefore be looking for an experienced goalkeeper to put on the gloves at La Beaujoire and elsewhere. A starter for the last eleven seasons in Lyon's goals, Lopes (34 years old) could therefore well offer himself a new challenge over six months which could be extended depending on his performances.
Recruiting a goalkeeper who has 378 L1 matches under his belt is a good bet on experience.
