Arriving in the 2023 summer transfer window from Inter Milan, Milan Skriniar, 29-year-old defender, did not find a place at Paris Saint-Germain. His contract ends in June 2028, but already a departure seems likely while the Slovak international is no longer playing. This Saturday, PSG Inside Act indicates that the player is in contact with Galatasaray, as has been announced, but that he has other priorities.
“Despite these discussions, no agreement has yet been finalized. The player gives himself a little time to accept it or not.
Despite interest from Galatasaray, Skriniar favors a return to Italy (Juventus, Naples, As Roma) or a transfer to England. These two destinations are considered more attractive for the player, who wishes to play in more competitive championships better suited to his style of play.”
We remain cautious, there is still nothing official on this file. Even if we suspect that Skriniar is on the move given his very limited playing time in recent months.
As for the rest, it’s still quite vague. Galatasaray is regularly mentioned, it is probably not for nothing. But it’s not a guarantee either. Especially since it was announced as well advanced a few days ago, so that it is only an avenue today.
Perhaps Skriniar knows that things can go quickly with the Turkish club, preferring to wait a bit to see if there are other options.
