British actress Olivia Hussey died on Friday December 27 at the age of 73.
She was best known for her role as teenage Juliet in Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 film Romeo and Juliet.

Complaint against Paramount
Born in 1951 in Buenos Aires, Olivia Hussey was 15 when she and her partner Leonard Whiting, then 16, played the famous lovers in the Oscar-winning adaptation of William Shakespeare’s tragedy. In 2023, the two actors filed a complaint against the studio Paramount Pictures for a scene of non-consensual nudity. A US judge later dismissed the suit and ruled in favor of Paramount.
