Thursday, December 19, the Chamouilley Judo Club praised the performances of two of its members, Antonin Petitjean and Mattéo Job. The young athletes, who have been practicing judo for only two years, reached the podium during their first competition, in Bourbonne-les-Bains. Participating in colored belts, Antonin climbed 1era walks in the less than 90 kg category while Mattéo took 3e place in that of less than 73 kg. Their trainer Alric Limelette, who is currently undergoing CQP (professional qualification certificate) training to become a martial arts teacher, warmly congratulated them on their success.
The youngest were not left out as they participated in their first samurai and mini-chicks activity in Saint-Dizier. The children's results were highlighted by emoticons (laughing, sulking). As Alric Limelette indicated, “they did well despite some gaps in judo vocabulary, but their progress throughout the year was remarkable.” The 2nd year judokas were a hit as they totaled 150 points, the maximum to be obtained, the result of the quality of their training.
Other challenges are already planned in January for the Camoleusian judokas, a ne-waza competition for Alric, Amaury and Tanguy and another in Épinal for Antonin “who will give it a try”. Santa Claus took advantage of this last session before the holidays to bring everyone treats to enjoy without moderation before a pancake evening.
