Hauts-de-Seine: 80 firefighters mobilized for a fire on the 14th floor of a building in Vanves

Flames beyond the roof of the building. An impressive fire broke out this Saturday in a building on rue Sadi-Carnot, in Vanves (Hauts-de-Seine). “Around noon, the firefighters were called to an apartment fire in Vanves,” indicate the Paris firefighters on X.

Around 80 firefighters and around twenty trucks were dispatched to the scene of the incident, emergency services told Le Parisien. A 90 m2 apartment burned, they say. “The smoke was spread” but “there was no spread of the fire”. The flames were channeled “without any particular difficulty”.

Residents who were confronted with the smoke were evacuated, we learned. At this stage, no injuries have been reported by authorities.

The origin of the fire remains unknown at this time.
