Even before the 2019-2024 part-time firefighters work agreement expires, the City of Trois-Pistoles announces that a new five-year agreement was signed on November 27, 2024.
The negotiation between the parties is to the satisfaction of all parties. And in Trois-Pistoles, the city is proud to say that there is a great synergy with the fire team and moreover it is grateful for the good services provided.
“To my knowledge, this is the best agreement since 2013. We feel better recognition of our work and the stability at the head of operations, with Chief Raphaël Bastille, is very motivating for the entire team,” specifies the firefighter. , Michel Dallaire.

“I am proud to have been able to work and reach an agreement with our temporary firefighters. We can now focus on the safety of our residents,” says Étienne Bergeron, general director.
Finally, the mayor of Trois-Pistoles, Philippe Guilbert, wanted to highlight the good work of his administration and the fire department team regarding the renewal of the working agreement. He adds that the collaboration of everyone around the table was exemplary and made it possible to sign a solid agreement for the next 5 years.
