PSG Mercato: a first star says no to Paris for next summer

Announced in the little papers of the PSG leaders for next summer, at the end of his contract with Tottenham, Heung-min Son (32) has just extended with Spurs.

Two days ago, the X account PSGInside-Actus announced that Parisian management was attentive to players at the end of their contract next summer. Four were particularly followed: Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Heung-min Son (Tottenham), Joshua Kimmich and Leroy Sané (Bayern Munich). These were golden opportunities and PSG knew full well that there was still little chance that players of this caliber would find themselves free on the market, not to mention the competition, which would not lack be formidable. Well, for Son, it's already worn out!

He extended a one-year contract with Tottenham

The Korean left winger extended his contract for one season with Spurs on Tuesday. This was an option provided for in his contract, which the London club activated. Arriving in 2015 from Bayer Leverkusen, Heung-min Son will therefore have a sixteenth season at THFC. Unless this extension only serves to recover compensation. But in this case, PSG should pass. The capital club no longer wants to recruit stars in decline. If they are free, like Mohamed Salah, why not. Otherwise, Luis Campos and Luis Henrique are not going to reverse the policy put in place for a year and a half.

So it's over for Son. But there is still hope for Mohamed Salah, who has still not extended his contract at Liverpool and who is a real target for the Qataris, much more in any case than the South Korean, whom he far surpasses in notoriety.
