The 1m40 slender boy, dressed in a sweatshirt and basketball jeans, presented himself to the children's court. The minor, only 15 years old, seems much younger. Until then, he had been placed in a closed educational center, but “is not one of the young people particularly known to the police”according to the prosecutor. “A boy from the neighborhood who unfortunately allows himself to be lured into acts of delinquency”specifies Cécile Gensac.

At the hearing which was held behind closed doors, the teenager partially admitted the facts. “He admits part of the facts, actually having carried a jerrycanexplains his lawyer, Me Camille Alliez. But he does not admit to having set the fire.”
In this case, the lessor of the gallery premises, a bank and the tobacco bar have filed civil suits. Several incidents had already taken place at this location. “Today the tobacco shop called 'Point de la chance' clearly bears its name very poorly since in 26 years of operation, three arson attacks, a car attack, a robbery…”, list Me Ludovic Para, the tobacconist's lawyer.
He adds that for his client, “it’s a feeling of total discouragement with each new event and at the same time of extraordinary courage to start from scratch each time.”
Cécile Gensac, the prosecutor, believes that the requisitions were completely “in keeping with the seriousness of the facts.” The defense lawyer has already announced that she will appeal.
Furthermore, a man, an adult, will soon be tried.
