DEATH – She was world stand-up paddle champion in 2017 and 2019, and also six times French champion. Breton woman Amandine Chazot died during the week at the age of 33, following cancer, reports West .

Licensed at the Pagaies-club of Pont-l'Abbé in Finistère, the young woman had largely participated in trying to popularize this minor sporting discipline in France. She also carried the Olympic flame during her visit to the La Torche spot, in Plomeur, before the Olympic Games.
