Like every year, the consumer association Altroconsumo has established a ranking of the 19 best suppliers, based on user satisfaction with customer service, the presence and handling of problems and the transparency of invoices.
A particularly useful classification for Italian consumers called upon to move to the free electricity and gas market since the end of the protected energy market.

We Kiwi, Iren Luce and Gas et Enel Energy occupy the last three places in the ranking, with an overall score of 56 out of 100 and 63/100 respectively. Iren and Enel have average scores within the normal range, while achieving excellent results when it comes to contract conditions (80 and 85 out of 100, respectively).
From 14th to 16th place we find Heracomm, A2A et Thatwith respective scores of 66, 65 and again 65. The three suppliers nevertheless stand out in the category of contractual conditions, where they obtain 85, 75 and 85 points respectively.
From 11th to 13th place, we find Edison Energy, Pulse et Agsmaim Energiawith respective scores of 69, 67 and 66. The three suppliers obtain better scores for their contractual conditions (74 and 75).
From 8th to 10th place, we find extra, Illumia et Plenitudewith respective scores of 71, 70 and 70. Plenitude obtains in particular the highest score of the 19 suppliers with regard to contractual conditions, with a score of 95.
Engie, Nen et E.ON Energia occupy the 5th, 6th and 7th places in the ranking with scores of 72, 72 and 71. Engie's best score (75) on the transparency of invoices.
Sorgenia, Alperia et Dolomiti Energia are progressing in the ranking, with scores of 79, 77 and 75. Alperia stands out in particular with a score of 89/100 obtained for problem resolution, the highest score among the 19 providers.
Octopus Energy took first place in the 2024 ranking, with an overall score of 83. The company stands out for its ratings for call center satisfaction (84 out of 100), online customer service (83 out of 100), and transparency of invoices (86 out of 100).
