During the night of Sunday 24 to Monday 25 November 2024, nine machines and trucks from the Charpentier TP company located in L’Oie (Vendée) were affected by a fire. An act claimed a few hours later by an anti-basin collective called “Stop megabasins”. The latter justified his action by “the company’s participation in mega-basin projects” in Vendée, Charente-Maritime and Deux-Sèvres.
