Samsung Galaxy A33 and A34 receive November security update

Samsung has started rolling out the November security update for its Galaxy smartphones. After delays, the update became available for the Galaxy A33 and A34, which were released in 2022 and 2023.

Here’s what we know

For Galaxy A33, the update build number is A336BXXSCEXK1, and for Galaxy A34 – A346BXXU9CXK1. The package fixes 38 vulnerabilities in Android and 13 issues in One UI. For the Galaxy A34, the update also brings reliability improvements.

At the time of writing, the update is available in Europe. There’s no word yet on when it will be available in other regions, as Samsung is rolling out the update more slowly than usual this time around.

How to activate it

To check if the update is available, go to Settings, Software Update, Download and Install.
