The tanker Sky of Capri is moored at jetty no. 6 of the TotalÉnergies refinery in Donges. Its tanks are still full of oil.
It was while unloading its cargo this Saturday, November 23 at 10:50 p.m., that employees of the refinery noticed a leak on a 30 cm pipe elbow on wharf no. 6. The plan internal operation (POI) of the refinery was immediately triggered in accordance with the site security plan developed in conjunction with State services (Prefecture, DREAL, DDTM, SDIS, CEDRE ARS and gendarmerie). Very quickly, the refinery firefighters installed floating tubes while the unloading of crude oil was interrupted at 1:40 a.m.
