Garmin releases stable software version 26.30 for the Descent Mk2, Descent Mk2S and Descent Mk2i watch-style dive computers. The company announced the release of this version on its forum, confirming that it has sent the update to at least 50% of users.

Version 26.30 brings a new heart rate graph to the post-dive summary page. However, it should be noted that it replaces the bar chart of time spent in zones. Dive end timeout now defaults to five minutes, but users must reset settings to see this change. Additionally, Garmin fixed an issue with PO2 alerts in the Plan Dive app. Additionally, four changes relate only to the Mk2i wearable device. These include the ability to receive additional SubWave messages when using a Descent T2 transceiver and improved stability when multiple SubWave messages are sent simultaneously. You can view the changelog below.

Users can install this update via Garmin Express or the Garmin Connect app. It is not yet known when system software version 26.30 will be available for all Descent Mk2, Descent Mk2S and Descent Mk2i units. Additionally, the Garmin Descent Mk2 dive computer is currently available on Amazon for $1,059.99.
