Les Enfoirés strive to put on an extraordinary show bringing together dozens of French stars. If new faces join the ranks every year, others prefer to close this chapter. This is the case of Catherine Lara. An emblematic figure of the Enfoirés, she joined the Enfoirés in 1994, before disappearing for several years. She nevertheless returned to the stage in 2022. But since then, Catherine Lara has preferred to bow out with regard to this troop like no other. She no longer finds her place there: “I was even more ridiculous than the disguises they put on our skin,” she confided to the microphone of Europe 1 in July 2024.
Even if she recognizes the usefulness of these shows, she does not appreciate the conditions in which it is carried out each year: “I defend the Enfoirés, it's great to give food to those who don't have what they have. It's necessary, but I no longer wanted this gas factory. When I met the Enfoirés, we had time to do real duets, trios. We had 5 minutes to sing together. express and to try to throw out some emotions. And now we do two sentences, tack, we go out. There's a footballer who comes and sings like crazy, it doesn't matter. Afterwards, there's another who sings well. I have nothing against it, but I no longer had my place in that.”
In 2017, Hélène Ségara also announced that she was leaving the Enfoirés after 17 years of good and loyal service. A (…)
