George Russell has joined the clan of multiple Grand Prix winners in 2024! The Briton, who started in pole position, flew through the proceedings in Las Vegas to win his second victory of the season after Austria. Mercedes even won the double with the formidable comeback of Lewis Hamilton, second at the finish after starting from 10th place.
Above all, the main information at the arrival of this Las Vegas GP is the coronation of Max Verstappen who wins his fourth Formula 1 title! The Dutchman had to finish ahead of Lando Norris to be champion and he responded, while the Briton was unable to fight in Sin City. With 403 points against 340 for the McLaren driver, Max Verstappen mathematically ensures the title before the last two meetings of the season, in Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
From now on, eyes are fixed on the hotly contested Manufacturers' Championship. McLaren is still in the lead with 608 points, but Ferrari (584 points) is only 24 points behind the British team! Red Bull also remains in the battle with 555 points. Thanks to Nico Hülkenberg's 8th place, Haas (50 points) takes 6th place from Alpine (49 points).
