Fabrice Motch then explained that he had ended Philippe Pico’s life in order to protect Yannick, his mistress who was allegedly the victim of domestic violence. “A number of alarm signals had been sounded”he justified himself at the time. “Pico was a domestic tyrant, violent and alcoholic. I decided to kill him after talking with him one evening in the streets of Chevreuse. Pico told me that he thought his wife had a lover. He didn’t know that it was me. He told me he was going to find it, smoke it and that there would be gasoline for everyone at Christmas. He was talking about his wife and his children. he had declared during his trial. Yannick had validated Fabrice Motch’s accusations, explaining that her husband had abused and humiliated her when he was under the influence of alcohol and that she feared for her life. At the end of his trial, Fabrice Motch received life imprisonment and Yannick was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
