An opponent of the far right

A grassroots activist

Born in 1986 in Saint-Jean de Braye, near Orléans, this daughter of a professor and a project manager at the Loire-Bretagne Water Agency began studying to become a social worker. At 17, she did an internship at Planning d’Orléans and decided to abandon her training to devote herself to activism. She rose through the ranks of the movement, becoming co-president in 2019, then president in 2022.

A craftswoman of the constitutionalization of abortion

Even if Marine Le Pen voted in favor of constitutionalization, she does not forget her positions against “Comfortable abortion” and his opposition to the extension of deadlines.

An intersectional feminist

His five years of presidency are marked by positions taken in favor of the rights of LGBTQIA + people, “inseparable from women’s rights”. The criticism has sometimes been fierce, as in the summer of 2022, when a Planning poster depicting a pregnant transgender man was released. At the time, elected officials from the right and far right had called for a reduction in public subsidies allocated to Planning. RN MP Laure Lavalette had castigated “highly subsidized activists who only seek to spread their grotesque and lying ideology”.
