From 1999the November 25th is proclaimed by the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
In Lons-le-Saunier will be organized around this day of numerous awareness-raising operations by various associations, notably by the Information Center for Women and Family Law (CIDFF), at the forefront of this fight for many years.
Four highlights
> In partnership with the City, the Law breakfastfree and open to all, in the company of the Public Prosecutorof a criminal lawyerfrom the president of France victims 39 also forensic doctor and the departmental delegate for women's rights and equality will be followed by a debate. Saturday November 23, between 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m., at the Foyer du Théâtre de Lons-le-Saunier.
> A moment withAnne Sylvestre who, creator of the famous “Fabulettes” greatly defended women’s freedom. Texts read by Eliane Vuillermoz and sung by Pascale Richem. Wednesday November 27 at 6 p.m. at the Media Library. Free.
> The play by Dario Fo and Franca Rame “A Single Woman” presents a simple and naive character imprisoned by her husband. Opening her window one day, she can tell her story, her daily life to a neighbor in the building opposite. Sylvia Delagrangealone on stage, offers a 1h10 journey between laughter and emotion.
