ULT AGthe expert in extraction and filtration technology, presents l’ACD 400.1 Ex, a brand new extraction machine designed to eliminate atmospheres containing flammable components. This announcement follows the recent launch of its solution compliant with the ATEX standard which extracts and filters dry, combustible and dangerous fumes and dust.
Equipped with an explosion-proof fan complying with ATEX Ex II 2G T3, the new system can extract and filter dry, flammable and non-flammable gases and vapors at concentrations ranging up to 20% of the lower explosive limit.
This is a modular two-stage storage filter device, consisting of an M5 dust pre-filter and two adsorption filter modules (activated carbon). To prevent ignition of flammable gases and vapors in the filter, the activated carbon filter elements and subsequent components – such as the ATEX directive-compliant fan and motor – are grounded and designed to be free from sources of ignition.
In addition to its properties as an Ex device, the ACD 400.1 Ex offers the user further advantages, such as extremely quiet operation, low energy consumption and high flexibility when changing location. work or type of emissions.
The filter cassettes are electrically conductive with a potential equalization connection and provide a high level of safety for users when replacing filters. A T3 fan is installed in the device, which allows gases of temperature classes T1-T3 to be safely extracted.
The extraction unit can be equipped with collection elements (extraction arms, pipes, tubes) of different sizes and types. Thanks to the high degree of gas filtration, the cleaned gas can be reintroduced to the working area via the standard integrated recirculation mode.
For applications involving carcinogenic, mutagenic or reproductive toxic gases, the devices can be equipped with an air exhaust nozzle. A full range of accessories is available for l’ACD 400.1 Ex, specially designed for applications involving flammable gases.
