Created by the Department of Hauts-de-Seine, the Best Team Member Prize is awarded each week by the public from a pre-selection of a jury of experts, journalists and cycling personalities, to reward the dedication of a rider for his team, or the spirit of sacrifice of a teammate for his leader.
This year, the Hauts-de-Seine Department, in collaboration with Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO), has selected a select jury who will bring this Best Team Member Award to life throughout the Tour de France!
Videos featuring the strong images of each of the four nominees will be posted on the Tour de France social networks (Tour de France Club and Twitter). The dates for the award of the best team member are July 9, 16 and 21. Fans will have a little over 24 hours to vote and thus designate the Best Team Member. The winner will receive a bonus of €3,000 from the Département 92. During the 2023 edition of the Tour de France, three winners were awarded the Best Team Member prize: Wout van Aert, Sepp Kuss and Matthias Skjelmose
