For many, her love story with Andrew Garfield will remain among the most legendary in Hollywood. If the general public knows him less than Emma Stone, Dave McCary has also carved out a place for himself in the seventh art. Co-founder of the comedy troupe Good Neighbor, he joined the production of the famous show “Saturday Night Live” in the United States. A work that earned him three nominations for the Emmy Awards, in 2016, 2017 and 2018. It was also on the set of the show, at the end of 2016, that he met Emma for the first time. In 2017, Dave McCary also took on the role of director with the feature film “Brigsby Bear”. And that’s not all since he is now executive producer of the series “The Curse”, available on Paramount+ and in which Emma Stone plays one of the main roles. On January 8, 2024, the two spouses made a rare public appearance together for the occasion, not without displeasing fans.
