On October 29, 2024, Le Parisien revealed that a former technician from Slimane's tour filed a complaint for sexual harassment, concerning events that occurred in December 2023.
A second complaint was filed on November 18, 2024 by another technician, accusing Slimane of sexual assault during a similar incident.
Despite the accusations, Slimane did not comment, while several technicians left the tour, dissatisfied with the reaction of their employers.
There is water in the gas! Season 19 of L’amour est dans le pré continues this November 18 on M6 with the romantic escapades of several couples. But that doesn't mean that the atmosphere is relaxing for everyone. Because if things are complicated for Ludovic and Mélanie who are enjoying a stay in Morocco, they are not the only ones where the tone is rising. For Gilles and Marieseparated by some 800 kilometers, the atmosphere was also tense before the reunion.
As Gilles points out: “The problem is the journey. It takes a day to come and one to leave… When it’s 100 kilometers away, you can go there on a weekend, but now it’s impossible”. The retired farmer nevertheless made the journey to reach his beloved in the south for a few days. But the discussions which preceded this highly anticipated moment refreshed the atmosphere somewhat, especially since Marie does not understand the reluctance by Gilles.

“The miles aren't scary. When you want it, when you know it, when you know you're going to feel good, you can do it” begins by explaining Marie facing the camera. And continuing: “I'm a little cold, disappointed, sad, angry. It upset meI said to myself: 'Wait, who does this guy think he is?'”. An anger which, however, did not last since as soon as Gilles arrived at her home, Marie found herself under his spell once again.
“As soon as I see him, I melt” she then confides. The couple therefore set off for a walk, leaving their embarrassment behind them, delighted as they were to meet again after having been separated by many kilometers for some time. But the subject of distance remains on their minds. “She doesn't want to relocate and neither do I. Where are we going in all this? That's the downside of our relationship, it's the distance“recalls Gilles who has indeed specified several times that he is looking for someone who could be present, physically, at his side.
Will Gilles and Marie stay together?
Marie then inquires about Gilles' opinion for her region and confirms to him that she does not “will never come definitively” at home, just as he doesn't want to move. The lovebirds are therefore, for the moment, in a dead end. It remains to be seen how the adventure will continue for them, and if they will be able to find a compromise to continue the adventure together.
