The firefighters of Saint-Malo (Ille-et-Vilaine) were called upon, this Monday, November 18, 2024 at the end of the afternoon, for the start of a fire in the basement of a business on the street of Dinan, currently under construction. They quickly contained the start of the fire and the smoke “fairly important” which was spreading. The disaster did not cause any injuries.

35 firefighters mobilized

The configuration of the intramural structure in Saint-Malo requires a very specific emergency system and often significant resources. This was the case with the mobilization of around 35 firefighters, ladder and pump trucks.

Enedis agents and police officers were also on site to secure the scene.
