Colombia hosts Ecuador on Tuesday as CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying continues with a clash in Barranquilla.
Ecuador is coming off a 4-0 thrashing of Bolivia on Thursday, moving The Tricolor up to fifth in the qualifying table with 16 points.
Had Ecuador not started qualifying with a three-point penalty for fielding an ineligible player, it would be level on points with Colombia, which is in third place with 19 points.

Colombia dropped into that third position after a 3-2 defeat to Uruguay on Friday. It was a second defeat in three games for Néstor Lorenzo’s side, which began qualifying with eight straight matches unbeaten.
Ecuador has the best defensive record in CONMEBOL qualifying thus far, conceding just four times in 11 games. That will provide a major challenge for a star-studded Colombia attack boasting the likes of James Rodriguez, Luis Díaz and Jhon Durán.
Here is everything you need to know ahead of the game.
