A wall weighing several tonnes collapsed on a worker this Monday, November 18, in La Chapelle-sur-Erdre, north of Nantes. The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m., on a construction site in progress, rue de la Hautière.
The victim, aged around fifty, was freed by firefighters. Rescue specialists in dangerous environments used a crane. Seriously injured, the worker was treated by SMUR teams at the Nantes University Hospital.
