The last week, Rockstar Games announced the new update for GTA Online: Bottom Dollar Bounties. Almost four years after the cancellation of the “Cops and Robbers” update, Rockstar offered a new version of the famous, highly anticipated police update. After some information and a first trailer, the update is revealed in full on the day of its release. Here is all you need to know.
It’s high time to get on the right side of the law (or not). After a long career as a bounty hunter, Maude Eccles is ready to hang up her handcuffs and offer a golden opportunity to those who want to reclaim the bounty hunting business in GTA Online: Bottom Dollar Bounties. The new update is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
This new update of GTA Online invites you to become the new leader of the Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement agency, a bounty hunter agency allowing you to team up with Jenette, the young assistant and especially Maude’s daughter , to lead this cleanup crew and take down an assortment of valuable targets, including some of the most wanted people in southern San Andreas. Prepare to become the type of agent of justice the state needs by tracking down and bringing back these dangerous miscreants, using all manner of ruthless intimidation tactics to thwart further criminal activity.
In this new update, LSPD Officer Vincent Effenburger also needs your help. With this, you will be able to access a wide assortment of new vehicles, with police vehicles, new Drift upgrades for certain vehicles, as well as new tools and accessories in the Creator.
As always, GTA+ members also enjoy new benefits, including the Vinewood Club phone app, a free Överflöd Pipistrello super car available exclusively to GTA+ members this week, and much more.
The Bounty Hunter Bureau provides you with everything you need to start collecting bounties and earning the legal salary. Once you have contacted Maude, visit Maze Bank Foreclosures to choose your location from an assortment of available locations. Each includes a Bail Enforcement System computer that lists available targets: three standard targets and one highly sought-after target.
There is also a holding cell for those you have apprehended, CCTV access, a safe and garage with room for two personal vehicles and the Bottom Dollar brand bail enforcement van used to transport captured criminals . Customize your office by choosing one of three different styles, up to two additional staff members to improve efficiency, a gun cabinet and armor for your van.
The biggest bandits in San Andreas
Once your business is set up, it won’t take long to start cleaning up the San Andreas region. While standard targets are more likely to be low-level criminals, the most sought-after targets represent the upper echelon of criminal scum: CEOs, movie stars, legendary street racers, and so on. Most sought-after targets can be hit once per day, while ambitious bounty hunters can hit as many standard targets as they want.
Remember, this isn’t the Wild West: Standard and Most Wanted targets are much more valuable alive than dead, so be careful when using lethal force, even in the most difficult situations. Non-lethal equipment, such as stun guns, can be useful in attempting to subdue targets. You can use the Bail Execution Van to safely return suspects alive to your holding cell or, if necessary, deliver their remains to LS County medical examiners.
Street justice
The Eccles family isn’t the only one who wants to clean up Los Santos. Officer Vincent Effenburger has recently felt frustrated with LSPD’s corruption, and he doesn’t hesitate to ask for help. To work with Vincent and access the new police vehicles, make sure you have completed the Slush Fund mission in the Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid to unlock one of the three new law enforcement vehicles available today today on the Warstock Cache & Carry website. You can also use previously unlocked law enforcement vehicles like the Stanier, Cruiser, and Unmarked Cruiser from The Chop Shop update, or the Bravado Gauntlet Interceptor from the Cluckin’ Farm Raid update Bell.
Once inside an eligible vehicle, you can request work or accept Vincent’s invitation. To work undeclared as a henchman, you must remain discreet. So remove your status as CEO, VIP or MC Chairman before accepting a dispatch job.
This update also adds a trio of law enforcement vehicles requisitioned from local authorities, useful for budding vigilantes, and which also allow you to participate in dispatch work for Vincent:
- Declasse Cruiser Impaler SZ
- Cruiser Bravado Greenwood
- Cruiser Bravado Dorado
These vehicles are available now on the Warstock Cache & Carry site if you have completed the Savings Bank mission in the Cluckin’ Bell Farm raid.
This new update to GTA Online: Bottom Dollar Bounties features a collection of new vehicles with the luxurious Enus Paragon S (Sports) and the stunning Bollokan Envisage (Sports) both performing extremely well. You are also entitled to the Übermacht Niobe (Sports) which will combine speed and gas-guzzling power with the superiority complex of a hybrid, as well as the Annis Euros X32 (Coupé) is a new version of a glorious classic. These vehicles will be able to be modified with special items with a full series of aesthetic and performance overhauls at Hao’s Special Works on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Today’s update also introduces the stylish Invetero Coquette D1 (Sports Classic) and the rugged Declasse Yosemite 1500 (Off-Road).
New features for Drift fans
Take part in the city’s drift races by installing the Drift Tuning Kit on three new eligible vehicles: the Vulcar Nebula Turbo (Sports Classic), Übermacht Cypher (Sports) and Übermacht Sentinel Classic Widebody (Sports). Additionally, drift fanatics can make their mark on the scene with an assortment of bold new liveries only available for vehicles equipped with Drift Tuning.
For GTA+ players
For GTA+ subscribers, they benefit from exclusive new features like the handy new Club Vinewood app for your in-game phone, which lets you easily request vehicles, claim any outstanding Corporate Vault winnings, and to restock ammo on your in-game phone. Club Vinewood’s garage now has a workshop where you can easily modify your vehicles. GTA+ members can also claim the new Överflöd Pipistrello (Super) one week early for free from Vinewood Car Club starting today.
