An explosive evening for David Savard at En direct de l’univers

Live from the universe is one of Quebecers’ favorite shows. Each week, a personality is offered exceptional and moving musical moments, creating unique television entertainment. During the last episode, this was clearly the case with the tribute paid to the actor David Savard.

And when it came to moving, the set clearly came alive, even on fire, for this man who loves being surrounded by family and friends, and who likes to have fun in life.

Several big names in the industry, as well as members of his family, took the stage to perform his favorite songs. Among them, the actor Kevin Houle offered a grandiose performance of a scene from the film Grease, accompanied by dancers, to the great pleasure of David.

His friend and actor Daniel Parent was also simply perfect in his interpretation of Luxor I love it of Philippe Katerine. A memorable moment that made the big guest of the evening dance.

A particularly notable moment of the show was when Yves P. Pelletier made his entrance on stage, accompanied by his group composed of Dave Morgan et Jean-Philippe Wauthier. Together, they performed one of the favorite sketches of Rock and Beautiful Ears for David Savard, whom he loved to reproduce when he was young: I Wanna R.O.T!

Unsurprisingly, the former member of R.B.O. shone and made everyone laugh. But the one that also caught our attention is Wauthierwaddling around with a simple denim kit, an open jacket revealing his torso and a blonde wig giving him a rock star look, managing to surprise us once again.

This moment also recalled his famous overalls worn without a sweater underneath during his show Good evening Good evening!

That’s not all, since, in addition to his parents who came to sing for him, Rémi-Pierre Paquin also marked the evening by singing alongside two of David’s brothers, as well as his own brothers.
