THQ Nordic and Alkimia Interactive continue to share information and screenshots from the remake of the popular Gothic game.
Players have already seen several updated monsters and locations, including Old Camp, Swamp Camp, and Mine Valley.
Today, it’s the turn of the Rice Fields.
Here's what we know
The rice field is one of the first places the player goes. Here, in the open air and in all weathers, the farmers engage in exhausting work.

This is the domain of the Lord of Rice, one of the founders of the New Camp, who, with his servants, strictly maintains order and suppresses any manifestation of disobedience.
The rice harvest is the mainstay of the camp's economy, as it not only ensures subsistence, but also produces rice schnapps, in great demand throughout the colony. However, discontent is brewing among the workers, with many disillusioned with this way of life and ready for change.
When can we expect it?
The release date for Gothic Remake is not yet known. It is expected to be released in 2025.
The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
