Jonas Abrahamsen was one of the main actors in the Tour de 2024. During the three weeks of racing, the Norwegian had the honor of wearing the red polka dot jersey for best climber, the green jersey for best sprinter and to grab a good second place in Bologna during the second stage, won by French Kevin Vauquelin. “I remember the first day I wore the polka dot jersey, and also the second day when I finished second. And being the first Norwegian in history to wear the polka dot jersey for two weeks is was a source of pride.” Jonas Abrahamsenalso looks back on his escape with Johannes Kulset during the 3rd stage of Tour de France 2024, between Piacenza and Turin. “Yes, it was crazy. I was with the youngest rider in the peloton, Johannes [Kulset]. The atmosphere was just incredible on the road, with the support of the public. It was really special, especially with the polka dot jersey, and also the green jersey. There are so many people looking at you and applauding you. It was an incredible feeling, something I had never felt. It was really cool,” concludes the 29-year-old Norwegian, who extended his adventure with Uno-X Mobility until 2028.
