Baie-Comoise Marie-Claude Lévesque has been a content producer for six to Live from the universe. On November 14, she took advantage of the release of the book from the popular show to participate in a talk at the AZ Bookstore.
The book Live from the universe: songs told and a book to answer meets a need for viewers of the show who wish to take part in this concept.
“Today, the bookstore suggested, since I come from the region, and I now live there full time, that I come and present the book, but also have a little discussion to present our project to people,” says Ms. Lévesque.
Back in Baie-Comeau since 2022, Marie-Claude continues her role as content producer for the show Live from the universe and says she couldn’t see herself working for another show.
“I had been in Montreal for 14 years. But, when the pandemic arrived, I wanted to return to the region. I didn’t really know where I was going to go. But, my boss was very, very open to me keeping my position on the show,” she says.
The best universe
Marie-Claude Lévesque began her career through other projects before landing on the show hosted by France Beaudoin.
Over the past six years, she says she has experienced so many beautiful moments.
“Part of my job, when I’m in the studio, is to take the guest’s place during rehearsals. In fact, I too receive what the guest is going to receive,” she says.
“Let’s just say that the first time Marjo sang to me Wild catslooking into my eyes as if she were offering it to me. I mean, it’s a chance that everyone would like, we get along,” she continues.
The world of Serge Fiori will certainly have been one of the most memorable moments for Baie-Comoise.
“We talk about it in the book, but Serge Fiori’s world was memorable. It’s been years since we’ve heard him sing, he doesn’t want to sing on TV anymore. But during his universe, he was caught. He went to join Louis-Jean Cormier who was singing. We had chills,” she reveals.
