In an audio recording, American killer Charles Manson said he was “involved in a few murders” before he became guru of his cult, the Manson Family, in the late 1960s.
According to information from the British daily The Guardian, Charles Manson admitted to having been guilty of several other murders. During a telephone call made in prison, Charles Manson allegedly confessed to having already participated in several murders before the creation of his sect.
“I left my .357 Magnum in Mexico and left bodies on the beach”
“There is a whole part of my life that no one knows,” Charles Manson said in the audio recording, available in the docuseries “Marking Manson”, produced by the Peacock platform.
“I lived in Mexico for a while. I went to Acapulco, I stole cars. I found myself involved in things that were beyond me, man. I’ve been involved in a few murders. I left my .357 Magnum in Mexico and left bodies on the beach,” explains the American murderer.

The American murderer is infamous for the assassination of Sharon Tate, the ex-wife of Roman Polanski in 1969.
In the middle of the night, members of the sect nicknamed the “Manson Family” entered his Los Angeles home. Sharon Tate was eight and a half months pregnant at the time. The American actress will be killed, as will her friends present. Roman Polanski is absent. He is preparing to film in London.

Died at 83 in prison
Charles Manson died in prison in 2017. He was 83 years old at the time. American justice sentenced him to death, a sentence ultimately transformed into life imprisonment. When he died, he had been behind bars for 40 years.
The murderer married Afton Elaine Burton, a 26-year-old woman, from prison at the end of 2014.
In 2023, Leslie Van Houten, who was one of his former disciples, was released from prison after 50 years of confinement. She was convicted of a double murder committed in 1969.
