A burning smell coming from the kitchen
Around 7 p.m., emergency services arrived at a farm at a place called Les Auberges, between La Longeville and Gilley. The farmer was milking his cows when he smelled a burning smell coming from the kitchen.
Fortunately for him and his farm, which he took over on January 1, the thirteen firefighters present (four engines) connected to the nearest fire hydrant, 500 meters away, and brought the fire under control quickly enough for it to does not extend to the hay that was above.
No injuries were reported.
