It was a young journalist, Valentin Briard, 30 years old, who was awarded the Hauts-de-France Press Club Grand Prize for young journalist on Thursday, November 14at the Maison Albert in Roubaix, in the presence of numerous information and communication professionals.
Journalist with our colleagues at The Voice of the Northhe produced a report on street educators in the region during the period between the two rounds of the 2024 legislative elections and their fear of the rise of the far right. “Legislative: we are afraid, street educators, already under tension, are holding their breath”, broadcast in pure-player and can be read on the website of The Voice of the North.
Le Courrier Picard, present at this ceremony and partner of the Club de la Presse des Hauts-de-France, was proud to present this prize aimed at encouraging young people entering the profession.
The Grand Prize is awarded each year, in November, for journalists and communications in Hauts-de-France, all media combined. Notice to amateurs!
