In memory of British soldiers who died during world conflicts, the royal family gathered on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Kate Middleton then appeared alongside Princess Sophie.
And during the ceremony, the two women exchanged a few words. Nicola Hickling, who specializes in lip reading, then told our colleagues at Sun a special moment when Sophie commented on Prince William's new beard. “What, do you like the beard?” asks the princess. To which Kate Middleton responds: “I find it quite exciting.” “You are all better now,” rejoices the Duchess of Edinburgh.

Kate Middleton and Sophie discuss Prince William's beard
She then clarified that the princess was in fact describing her husband's beard as “never quite round”. For Sophie, Prince William “a beautiful beard” and says that “it’s much better now”.
A light conversation between the two women which shows that Kate Middleton is gradually returning to the forefront, as before, without constantly mentioning her cancer. For royal biographer Claudia Joseph, Sophie was a “true confidante and sounding board”
for the Princess of Wales.
The Prince of Wales gives news of his wife
In an official press release, the royal family then wanted to honor the memory of the British soldiers: “We remember them. On behalf of the nation, the King lays a wreath at the Cenotaph during the annual ceremony of remembrance. Wreaths were also laid by the Prince of Wales, the Princess Royal and the Duke of Edinburgh, and on behalf of the Queen and the Duke of Kent”.
On this occasion, Prince William also gave news of his wife's state of health: “Hopefully Catherine will do a bit more next year, so maybe we'll have some more trips planned”. In any case, this is what all the British are hoping for, who are also worried about Camilla Parker-Bowles, the wife of King Charles III, who had to put her royal obligations on hold due to a lung infection.
“Following doctors' advice to ensure a full recovery from a seasonal lung infection and to protect others from any potential risks, Her Majesty will not attend this weekend's Remembrance events.”
