Poland-Austria, pre-match

This is already the match not to be lost for Poland and Austria. After having respectively fallen against France (0-1) and the Netherlands (1-2), the two nations face each other this Friday from 6 p.m., for their second match in Group D of Euro 2024. The loser potential of this match would then find itself in a very unfortunate position in the race for the round of 16.

If Austria seems very slightly favorite given its latest results, the outcome of the match remains particularly difficult to guess. Robert Lewandowski will start on the bench. The Polish star had already missed the first match due to a thigh injury and is eagerly expected to miss at least a few minutes this Friday against the Austrians.
