M6's flagship show, “France has an incredible talent”, continues its 19th season under the leadership of the iconic host of “L'amour est dans le pré”, Karine Le Marchand. The jury, made up of faithful Eric Antoine, Hélène Ségara, Marianne James and Sugar Sammy, continues to evaluate the performances of the artists who follow one another on stage.
The evening starts with a bang with “The Brats Killers”, a group of 30 hip-hop dancers aged 11 to 33. Under the direction of Mathieu Belbakhouch, known as “Boubou”, former finalist of season 15, the troupe ignited the stage and received a standing ovation as well as four unanimous “yes” from the jury. The adventure therefore continues for these urban dance enthusiasts.
In a completely different register, the “Duo Ice” takes the spectators on a journey with a poetic performance. Under artificial rain, the couple performs ever more spectacular acrobatics, creating a dreamlike moment that conquers the jury. This performance even inspires Karine Le Marchand who, amused by the flexibility of the artists, attempts an improvised lift with a technician from the show, which turned out to be… calamitous but amused the viewers!
Humor then takes over with Julien Schmidt, an imitator from Sartrouville. The artist starts his number with an offbeat cover of “Comme d'habit” by Claude François, before surprising the audience with unexpected imitations. From the noises of a mobile to an iron, he transforms his imitation act into a real sketch and triggers laughter both in the public and among the jurors.
But it’s Pietro who delivers one of the most moving moments of the evening. This street workout athlete, born with a congenital malformation, put on a show on stage. In an interview, he opens up about his disability, evoking with emotion the doctors' diagnosis at birth: “The doctors told me that I was going to end up in a wheelchair.” On stage, the athlete performs impressive figures on the parallel and fixed bars and demonstrates incredible physical strength. His performance, performed solely with arm strength and perfect core strength, earned him four enthusiastic “yes” from the jury.
But while the evening seems to be marked by unanimity, it is the performance of a young 10-year-old candidate that will particularly make Internet users react…

“Giving false hope is even crueler…”
A jury too kind? Lou, 10 years old, appears on stage with “Rêver” by Mylène Farmer. Her powerful voice and technical mastery impress the jury. If Marianne James points out a “too academic” side, she admits to having “loved” the performance. The four judges who continued to praise his performance gave their “yes”, but this decision was not unanimous on social networks.
On outrageous to a tweeter. “She passes because she’s a 10-year-old girl,” adds another. Some point out this tendency towards complacency: “You have to dare to press the buzzer and say 'no' sometimes… Giving false hope is even crueler.” Others wonder: “If it was someone older, there would have been no.”
