A knife with traces of blood FOUND
According to the first elements of the investigation, a knife with traces of blood and a lighter were discovered outside the accommodation, on the grass, under the window of a bedroom of the apartment. The weapon found could correspond to “the one used for the first victim”, indicates the prosecution.
Known to the gendarmerie services for drug trafficking, the 61-year-old man was placed under guardianship, according to the same, which specifies that the latter was bedridden daily in a medical bed and “could only move with difficulty “.
“It was known as being likely to usually welcome idle people, looking for narcotics, often alcoholics, thereby causing numerous neighborhood disturbances,” details the press release.
Due to the criminal classification of the facts, the Quimper public prosecutor’s office relinquished responsibility “for the benefit of the criminal department of the Brest public prosecutor’s office for the purposes of opening a judicial investigation”, according to the same source. Nineteen people had to be evacuated following the fire.
