For Bordeaux Le Mag (full podcast HERE), the journalist
Laurent Brun made the season for the Girondins de Bordeaux players. Here is his analysis on the goalkeeper position, Karl-Johan Johnson.

“Yes, his experience of French football was useful to him, certainly. At all levels: sporting, human, family. We feel that he is a fulfilled boy, and we felt the change very very quickly. Unfortunately for Rafal Straczek, as soon as his successor took office as starter, we saw the difference, if only to reassure the defense. There, we saw a guy who arrived, who imposed himself. He didn’t make a mistake, he saved the Girondins for a really long time. There is no bias on my part, I try to be as fair as possible in the observation and in the analysis, but frankly, we cannot compare… If we compare, it is the day and at night, or rain or shine (with Rafal Straczek). Yes, he already knew about France, the high level of the French championship, the demands that it requires, and Bordeaux since he already knew the city, he had already been there as an opponent. With him, we saved time, or rather we stopped wasting time. He boosted the team, and for me, he is the best Girondins player of the season, the most consistent.”
