Stephen Smith, Senior Vice President, Leisure Strategy and Marketing at Direct Travel, announced that two of the group’s Canadian advisors are finalists for Virtuoso Travel’s prestigious community awards.
The nominated advisors are Sheila Gallant-Halloran of Lush Life Travel in Ottawa, who was nominated in the Best Sustainable Community award category; and Shawn Kilner of Imagine Cruise & Travel in Nanaimo, British Columbia winning the award in the Culinary Tourism category.
The awards reflect Advisors’ strong support for Virtuoso partners in their respective communities. “It’s wonderful to see Sheila and Shawn nominated for these awards,” Smith said. “They have both carved out a niche for themselves in a very competitive industry and are proving that they are at the top of their game.
