If you want to be amazed this weekend, we have what you need! From Friday 15 to Sunday 17 November 2024, the Bollaert-Deleis stadium in Lensin Pas-de-Calais, will welcome the international craft fair (SIMA). We tell you more.
150 artisans at SIMA this weekend
It has become a must in the region over the years. This weekend, SIMA returns to the Bollaert stadium. For this new edition, 150 artisans are expected in the lounges of the Sang et Or lair. The SIMA was created in the 2000s after the announcement of the arrival of the Louvre-Lens in the mining basin.
The show was held in several locations, first in the Bertinchamps room, then in front of the Grands Bureaux or even in the Jean-Nohain room. But for 6 years, the SIMA has taken place at the Bollaert stadium. “It has become a very select show,” confides Jean-Claude Jeanson, a Lens merchant who has been present at SIMA since the first edition.
«You can spend an extraordinary day there because you will discover jobs that you wouldn't think of.. » Among the 150 craftsmen, visitors will be able to find roofers, illuminators, blacksmiths, cutlers, jewelry designers, painters, sculptors… “It’s a real eye-catcher, all trades are represented. »
Access to the lounge is free, it will be open all three days from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. More than 20,000 visitors are expected! Will you be part of it?
